WW2 9th Armoured Division Felt Cloth Formation Sign Flash Designation Patch Badge
Removed from uniform, a good embroidered black and white panda face felt formation sign.
The 9th Armoured was created on 1 December 1940 and dispersed and disbanded on 31 July 1944. It never saw active service during the war as a complete division, although its 27th armoured brigade fought in the Normandy campaign and NW Europe in 1944.

WW1 bronzed brass, King's crown, Jewish Chaplains cap badge for the Army Chaplains Department - Pagri fitting?
In good condition complete with original slider. Circa
4.6cms tall. Die cast with slider attached behind the crown. My only conclusion is that slider would have applied for wear on the sun helmet as regulations at the time did not permit the making of holes in such items for the wear in the sun helmet. Any information / thoughts welcome.
