Circa 24mm in diameter, fixed shank, maker marked Firmin& Sons, London. Button looks mainly dark / black toned but evidence of gilt finish. An early button only worn c1875 - 1883. Scarce.

A good scarce heavy die cast bronze example circa 1902-53. Two original blades to the reverse (one with slight damage.
Please note the blades are delicate and one of them has a split in it at the point where it joins to the badge, so I definitely do not recommend opening or playing with the blades on this badge. Sold as seen.
