WW2 Royal Army Chaplains' Department Enamel Cap Badge - Brooch Fitting
King's crown silver gilt and enamel die cast of two part construction cap or stole badge with pin fitting to the reverse (c clasp bent over trapping the pin). No damage to enamel. Gilt and silver plate bright. A quatrefoil to the centre of a voided circlet bearing the motto backed with blue enamel upon a Maltese cross within a crowned wreath of oak and laurel. Worn 1940 - 1952.

A fine quality vintage small unmarked sliver & enamel officers dress forage cap badge. Two part Garter Star in unmarked silver with blue enamel backing to the Garter and red enamel backing to the St. George's cross. Two original long silver loops to the reverse. Circa 36mm tall. In excellent condition with no damage to the enamel. As worn on the SD peaked cap.

Worn on the Smasher (Slouch) Hat. Gaylor claims the Pagri. Huge badge compared to the normal issue (see the second photo for a comparison with the badge listed below). Bi-metal with sweat hole to the reverse. Lugs look different in colour but both original. A smashing badge!

A small left facing Die cast and silver plated badge with two original copper loops and marked 'P' to the reverse. In very good condition. Worn 1951 - 1956 (Sealed pattern 25th April 1951 and replaced in by a silver anodised version, sealed 10th October 1956).

Die struck, nicely shaped with two original dark toned loops to the reverse (slightly flattened but fully functional). Allegedly worn by the 1st Battalion in Malta (they landed there in 1893) on the dark blue Austrian pattern field service cap. Gloucestershire Regiment pattern sphinx. A scarce badge. Circa 4.3cms tall. Circa 1895 - 1900.

East Yorkshire Regiment Officers OSD Bronze Cap Badge - Blades
A die cast cap badge of two-part construction with two original blades to the reverse (traces of cello tape to the blades). Both the rose and laurel leave are separately applied making the detail on this badge particularly fine. Touch of verdigris to the left most point otherwise in very good condition and of dark chocolate colour.
