WW1 Officers Map Lens (11) France - Attributed to Captain W G Clark RFA
No 11 in the series of twelve large scale foldable maps covering France and Belgium, this one covering the Lens area which included Arras, Bapaume and of course Lens. Map itself is clean and intact, the linen covers are grubby from service use and foxed with age. It is not a trench map as it does not have trenches marked on it.

Bought on the understanding it was worn by 59th Battery Royal Artillery (RA) as a pagri badge worn on a blue / red cloth diamond behind it on the pugarree. However I cannot substantiate this, so any information welcome.
