Usually worn on the ribbon bar, here we have a white metal device of Swords for Combatants as worn on the ribbon of the decoration for the KvK War Merit Cross with Swords for Combatants. It measures Circa 2.2cm across and has its original fasting prongs although has some age tarnish.

Enamel in undamaged condition and the pin fixing is the original and is fully functional. White metal tarnished. Will send it in the "England's Glory" naval themed empty matchbox in which I acquired it.

United States ( USA ) Army Officer's Gilt and Silvered Cap Badge

Crica 33mm in diameter, this has its original looking nut to a screw post fastener on the reverse. The silvered finish has considerable wear to the eagle device and the gilt backing has some blackish staining. Obviously seen a bit of service wear this one.  read more

Hallmarked silver for year 1917 (date letter S), maker's intials G.A. & S. In the form of an officer's cap badge but sweetheart size with original functional pin fittings. Slight loss of enamel to right hand side of scroll otherwise in excellent condition.
