Die struck / stamped brass construction with both original lugs present, a large badge which is circa 6cms wide x 5.8 cms tall, (the collar badges are of the same design but about half this size). I very good conditio with most of its black finish intact. Worn circa 1930 - 1942.

Captured French Eagle on tablet inscribed 8, no circle or title. This pattern sealed 1903. Two original brass loops to the reverse. Some small spots of verdigris to the front, but detail is sharp and in good condition. Circa 7.5cms tall.

4th / 5th (Territorial Force) Battalions of Prince Albert 's Somerset Light Infantry Other Ranks White Metal Cap Badge - South Africa 1900 - 01 Scroll
A heavy die struck example in white metal with the correct pattern of lettering and numbering on the scroll, and on a lightly crimped tapering slider. Hard to find a good one. Sharp detail.
