La Brigade de Parachutistes Coloniaux: Brigade of Colonial Parachutists, formed at Vannes in February 1955 from the 1re DBCCP. Transitioned to la Brigade École des Parachutistes Colonial in February 1958 and then to la Brigade de Parachutistes d'Outre-Mer in December 1958.

Indian Army - Officer's Madras Pioneers Matched and Facing Sterling Silver Collar Badges
UK made both marked sterling with two of two original silver loops to the reverse of each. Facing and matching, depicting and Indian Elephant over pioneer crossed spade and pick axe. Gorgeous pair and scarce (trace of bluetack to reverse of one shaft, now removed). Circa 25mm tall.

In unissued condition still with its paper backing intact. If memory serves me various Lancashire Home Guard units wore different coloured thread lettering to distinguish the various companies. Happy to be corrected. The generic pattern was white on khaki. Scarce.

WW2 Kings Shropshire Light Infantry (KSLI) Embroidered Yellow on Green 'Shaped' Felt Cloth Shoulder Title
This shape (acute angles to each edge) was an unofficial title and worn in WW2 by the 1st Battalion KSLI during the Italian campaign, 1943 - 1945. In very good condition with some traces of glue and paper stuck to the reverse. Scarce.
