Grenadier Guards GVI Warrant Officers Silver and Gilt Cap Badge, King's Crown
Warrant Officer's gilded brass and silver plated GVI cap badge. The cypher device is mounted on grenade ball and has 2 original loops to reverse with an as manufactured strengthening strip of brass to neck of grenade. Worn 1937-54. Silver plated cypher to ball of grenade, some loss of detail from polishing and gilt dulled with a touch of verdigris to some of the flames (17 points). Scarce.
