Sudan Kordofan Province Police / Officials Cap / Pagri Officers Silver (local hallmarks) Cast 3D Cap Badge

A silver locally hallmarked 3D badge of two part construction with two original silver loops to the reverse. Two native (Arabic) hallmarks to the reverse of the base of the Kudu's head and one to the reverse of the base of the circlet. Circa 4.3cms tall and 2.4cms wide. A volunteer reserve force raised on the eve of WW2 to assist local defence. Its roll included an anti-aircraft unit in Khartoum.

Queens (Royal West Surrey Regiment) Indian Made Sweetheart Brooch - Two Anna coins

A silver heart stamped with the regimental badge of this regiment flanked by two, two silver anna pieces on either side, one with the bust of Edward VII and dated 1910 and the other with the bust of George V and dated 1912 (partly obscured but just visible). A crossover piece between two monarchs. Sadly the pin has snapped off but the C clasp is still present. Sold as seen.
