Royal Corps of Transport (RCT) Officer's Frosted Silver Plate, Gilt and Enamel Cap Badge and Single Collar Badge

In silvered, gilt and enamel, both items with two original loops to the reverse. QEII crowns. Cap is near mint, collar with some toning to silver otherwise both in lovely condition. Collar sometimes worn also on Side Cap.

SWB ( South Wales Borderers ) Embroidered White on Red Felt Cloth Shoulder Title, worn 1943

Paste back, some glue and green felt to the reverse and two marks to the front on either side of the lettering otherwise in reasonable condition. The short title was worn in 1943 only (ACI 905, dated 12th June 1943). Condition reflected in price.

Davis No 293 refers (he classifies this as Fairly Scarce to Rare).

A good pair of collar badges almost an exact match but with some slight differences and hard to discern from the front. Two original loops to the reverse of each with sweat / braising / expansion holes to rear. Sharp detail and with no damage to lance pennons.

Victorian 4th Gurkha Rifles Officer's Side Cap Black Cord Boss Badge

A very early example with the device in cast silver plate and with a flat top Victorian crown, most probably from 1891 to 1901. A example similar in style with the scroll "Goorkhas" below is known (4GR D21) and this is held in the Gaunt collection in the National Army Museum. A genuine example of this much copied badge with two original loops to the reverse, in unissued condition complete with cotter pin. Correctly voided to centre of cypher. Worn from circa 1910 - 1947. Circa 50mm tall and 43mm wide.

A scarce early shoulder title, a blackened brass numeral 6 which was worn on khaki service dress. Worn circa 1903 - 1920. Circa 20mm tall and 14mm wide. In good condition with two original loops (slight twisting) and with some wear to black painted finish.
