Mounted on green card with a red felt backing. Came in with a DLI collection so presumed to be 6th Battalion which wore blackened insignia. Painted finish, so regimentally done, minor wear to painted finish to front and with two of two original copper loops to the reverse. Could also have been worn by KRRC. Scarce.

Would have been worn on battledress tunics in three lines, with a ACF sandwiched between the Durham LI title on the top and the company number below. Missing the ACF titles, but as these are fairly common in yellow on green these could be added. Remocved from display board with some wear but generally in good condition. Earlier issues.

A facing pair of die struck white metal cap badges with two original dark toned loops to the reverse of each. Line cavalry collar badges approved in 1898 - 1899.
