A simply stunning pagri badge, with original and functional pin fittings, and original red velvet cloth backing (some slight stressing to this between the numerals otherwise in remarkable condition for age). A large and heavy die cast silver badge stamped "silver" with two original silvered loops to reverse (slight twisting). Circa 6cms tall. This particular design as worn from 1948 (raised lion's paw; earlier patterns with paw downwards).

A good scarce locally made hand cut sheet brass shoulder title to the 2nd Zuid Afrikaans Ruiters (2nd South African Horse). Made from sheet brass or fired cartridge and cleverly shaped to incorporate loops at either end, but all made from one piece. In very good condition. Worn 1915 - 1918.

South African bilingual Brass Shoulder title for the 1st Battery South African Field Artillery, worn 192 - 1923 only. A good bronzed example with two original loops to the reverse.
