Scarce, circa 22mm in diameter. Flat button with shank still in tact but fragile and with one crack. Excavated condition, but better than one usually finds. Circa 19mm in diameter, closed backed ball button with fixed shank. Marked Treble Gilt to reverse. Gilt to front now mainly worn back to the base metal but in very good and attractive condition. Georgian Napoleonic Royal Regiment of Artillery Officer's Tunic Coatee Button
This button displays the Ordnance arms. Circa 23.5mm in diameter, it is flat and retains its original fixed shank. Gilt finish and detail is very worn, possibly excavated, but in good condition despite this. This was the second pattern button worn circa 1790 until 1802. Other ranks wore the same design as officer's but in pewter. Scarce.
