WW2 Combined Operations Printed Cloth Arm Badge as worn by Naval / Royal Marine personnel
In unissued condition. The badge was made by “Calico Printers”. Red RAF eagle, RN anchor and an Army Tommy-Gun on a black tombstone shaped backing, this shape usually worn by Royal Navy and Royal Marines personnel in Combined Operations Units.

WW2 Maritime Ant-Aircraft Artillery, 2nd pattern cloth formation sign
Dark blue rectangle embroidered with a white R A; red fouled anchor between the letters. The white elements to front now look yellow (from age /nicotine).
Introduced in 1942, this formation sign was worn by the Royal Artillery gun crews that were deployed in harbours and also on Defensively Equipped Merchant Navy Ships (DEMS) to provide protection.

A finely woven yellow on blue embroidered Chinthern formation sign, slightly padded, sewn to a circle of grey linen cloth backing. Circa 7cms in diameter. In very good condition.

Slight nip to top edge, but in unissued condition complete with original black paper backing. Light blue thread detailing to the red pinion (wing) on a dark blue rectangle. Adopted in late 1940, and comprised of infantry battalions from the Scots, Irish and Welsh Guards.
