Victorian White Metal British Volunteer Artillery Forage Cap Badge - Larger Pattern (Grenadier Guards Style)

As worn on the pill box or peaked cap by many Volunteer Artillery Other Ranks across the Kingdom, a white metal grenade with seventeen flames (Grenadier Guards pattern but in white metal) with two original toned loops to the reverse but these have been reinforced or re-secured with lead solder. Circa 13mm in diameter, a small button most probably for the cap, fixed shank, maker marked but hard to read, possibly Gaunt London. Stunning condition. This is the earlier pattern. Scarce.

East African Native Corps?

This badge was acquired with a collection of East African badges, but I cannot find a reference for it. Theatre sand cast in brass with integral loops, crossed spear and club on a blank circlet. Quite small at circa 32mm tall. Any information most welcome.
