Worn in facing pairs, this is a single example with the bugle facing to right. In good condition with minor edge wear to left edge but with no moth and with a solid linen backing to the reverse.
Slip-On Cloth Shoulder Titles were instituted by the British in April 1916 as an economy measure to conserve metal.

The French pattern eagle and scroll ' Waterloo ' below commemorate the capture of the eagle of the 45th Regiment of Infantry who were decimated by the charge of the Royal Scots Greys.

A very scarce enamel pin badge depicting the town crest for Darlington in County Durham celebrating end on WW1 with "Peace 1919" below.
