In good condition with all original loops to both parts. The straight DLI rather than curved Durham title was introduced in 1920 but still worn with the separate generic pattern bugle above in facing pairs. Bugle facing right. Small blob of braise to front of bugle.

Worn circa 1900 - 1944, and again by all ranks from 1946 - 1961 on the Gurkha hat. Worn in opposite ways by the 1st and 2nd battalions Each square is circa 12mm tall and 15mm wide. Minor edge wear and glue to reverse as removed from hat.
