A large crown, removed from uniform, backing paper now absent, red felt backing in good condition for age and some tarnishing to the bullion thread. Circa 39mm tall and 46mm wide.
Note: I have an example of this exact size and backing colour in my collection which came above the crossed Union flags and was worn by a Colour Sergeant of the Northumberland Fusiliers.

A de cast example, loops removed and converted to a pin fitting, possibly for wear on the pagri tropical helmet, or even for wear as a sweetheart brooch or OCA brooch. Gilt finish polished back to the brass from service wear. Circa 4.3cms tall.

Complete with original backing plate and two original loops. Bronzed finish. Slight verdigris to edge and small spot to front. Felt blue backing all but perished but could be replaced easily. As worn from 1908.
