WW2 Royal Horse Guards (The Blues) Bronze GVI Cap Badge with tabs / blades
A bronze die struck cap badge with two original tabs / blades to the reverse. Dramatically shaped to cap, some minor service wear to finish but a good original colour. King's Crown. Sealed 1937 and worn until 1953.

A two-part constructed cap star silver plated and gilt with green translucent enamel to centre and two long silvered copper loops (some bending) to the reverse.
More usually encountered with pin fitting. Circa 5cms across. Worn on the Glengarry and Balmoral cap. An early example of some quality and gilt is still bright. In very good condition.

The 1st Life Guards (Household Cavalry) Early Two Part Brass Shoulder Title
An early two part shoulder title, with a separate brass 1 above a LG, both with original fixings, but slightly different pattern so a bit of a marriage. LG is circa 2.6cms wide and 1.6cms tall, the numeral 1 is circa 2cms tall and 1cms wide. Very good condition. Worn circa 1900 - 1913.
