Grenadier Guards GVI Warrant Officers Silver and Gilt Cap Badge, King's Crown

Warrant Officer's gilded brass and silver plated GVI cap badge. The cypher device is mounted on grenade ball and has 2 original loops to reverse with an as manufactured strengthening strip of brass to neck of grenade. Worn 1937-54. Silver plated cypher to ball of grenade, some loss of detail from polishing and gilt dulled with a touch of verdigris to some of the flames (17 points). Scarce.read more

WW2 Grenadier Guards Sergeants & Musicians Cap Badge - George VI Cypher

A very pleasing gilt brass die struck example with strengthening bar to neck of grenade and two original loops to the reverse and the GR VI Royal Cypher reversed and interlaced struck on the ball. Detail is sharp with no polishing, retaining its original gilt finish. Sealed 23rd March 1941. Worn until circa 1954.

A good scarce die stamped brass example worn pre 1901. Crowned Garter VR cypher reversed and interlaced to a correctly voided centre. Two dark toned loops to the reverse (slight bending). (According to K&K these badges formed part ofthe shoulder titles).
