WW1 - '9L' - 9th Queen's Royal Lacners Woven White on Khaki Cloth Slip On Shoulder Title

An original embroidered First World War period 9th Lancers slip-on shoulder title.

These embroidered shoulder titles were produced from April 1916 as an economy measure. The badge is made from khaki coloured wool melton embroidered with white cotton thread.

The rear of the badge features a woven strip to allow the badge to be worn on the epaulette.

Cold War - 422nd (East Riding) Territorial Regiment Coast Artillery Regiment (East Riding of Yorkshire) Woven Supplementary Cloth Shoulder Title (1947 - 1956 only)

Authorised in October 1947 - the coast artillery units were abolished in 1956 and this unit amalgamated with 439th (Tyne) LAA Regiment in 1956.

In very good condition, hessian backed. Scarce.

WW2 Home Front - Civil Defence Printed ARP WARDEN Shoulder Title

Appears to have been unissued, but a little grubby despite this. Screen-printed in yellow-on-blue-background for the Battle Blouse or Service Overalls.
