Early Dorset Yeomanry Cavalry Officers Large Pattern Silver Plated Button

Circa 22mm in diameter, fixed shank, maker marked "P & S Firmin, 153 Strand, London" (this mark format was only used between 1835- 1849). In near mint condition. Stock photo as more than one available and all of equal quality. This button was worn from 1830 - 1843. Rare.

Small button, now missing shank, metal dectecting find. Circa 15.5mm in diameter. Darkened from being in soil, but details still clear. Possibly other units would fit the bill, but certainly a yeomanry item from circa 1793 - 1820.

Scarce, circa 22mm in diameter. Flat button with shank still in tact but fragile and with one crack. Excavated condition, but better than one usually finds. C24mm in diameter, fixed shank and maker marked Firmin & Sons, 153 Strand & 13 Conduit Street London. Gilt bright, in superb condition. QVC crown and VR monogram to centre of garter strap. This pattern from 1855 - 1902.

This style of maker naming used between 1856 - 1860 only making this a scrace button.
