The 1st Punjab Regiment was a regiment of the British Indian Army from 1922 to 1947. It was transferred to the Pakistan Army on Partition of India in 1947.

Complete with shank and maker marked W. H . Horstmann & Co, Phila, PA. This is circa 30mm across, so quite large. Looks like a WW1 issue to me but happy to be corrected. read more

24th Lancers Officer's Large Gilt Button - 1970's reproduction
24th Lancers Large Gilt Button, 26mm in diameter, fixed shank. Just the words Gaunt, London in a circle. steel back. Gaunt is weakly struck and G and T almost missing.

French Fireman's ( ?) Period Large Pewter Button of French manufacture - AM & Co, Paris
Unidentified pewter button, but possibly standing for Pompiers Local Municipale ( PLM ), a local volunteer fireman. Circa 21mm in diameter, made from pewter and with original integral shank to the reverse. Maker marked , AM & Cie (AM & Co) - Paris. Poor condition with some nibbles to the rope boarder.
