A really nice pair of collar badges, great design. Believe this pattern was worn between 1934 and 1940. Two original lugs to the reverse. Circa 2.6cm tall. Most probably officer's issue. In excellent condition.

Victorian East Africa - The Uganda Rifles Officers Gilt Brass Helmet Cap Badge
In very good condition with two original dark toned loops to the reverse. Circa 5.8cm tall. Gilt has dulled but otherwise in excellent condition and only worn 1895 - 1902. From 1902 onwards they became a King's African Rifles Battalion. There would only have been a handful of officers. Rare.

Scarce Sierra Leone Battalion ' SLBn ' brass shoulder title, British made with J.R. Gaunt London stamped to the reverse with both of its original lugs. Worn circa 1901-28. In good condition.
The British colony of Sierra Leone contributed one battalion of infantry to the West African Field Force. It was formed from personnel of the Sierra Leone Frontier Police.

Whilst this pattern is listed in Owen, he claims that they were never actually issued. As one would expect these are in mint condition. Screw fittings to reverse of Cap Badge with original retaining nuts and two sharp prong fixings to each of the collar badges. I will provide some blue plastic caps to protect your fingers. Described by Owen as rare in his first edition book.

Brass shoulder title with two original lugs to the reverse. Circa 5cm wide and 1.3cm tall. An all white unit as opposed to the Gold Coast Territorial Force, which consisted of white officers and African other ranks. Scarce.
