South Africa - Kaffrarian Rifles Officer's Pagri Badge
A good scarce die cast silver plate example worn circa 1902-1914. Red cloth backing to centre now pretty much absent but has a stout pagri pin with C clasp to the reverse. In very good condition with sharp detail.

Scarce Gold Coast Regiment West African Frontier Force ( GCR WAFF ) Brass Shoulder Title
Early pattern as worn from 1901 - 1928 (the title Royal was bestowed in 1928 in view of their service against the Germans in Africa during WW1 ). A large elliptical one piece die cast shoulder title. This is a heavy quality piece, circa 5.4cm wide and 3.4cm tall. Slight misshaping to one lug. Scarce.

Scarce king's crown officer's die cast bronze service dress cap badge with two blades to the reverse. The number " 1 " to the centre of a crowned bugle horn above the furled title scroll. Worn by the 1st Nyasaland Battalion King's African Rifles. May have been lacquered, but in superb condition.

RWAFF Royal West African Frontier Force Pair of Officers Bronze OSD Collar Badges
A small pair of matching die cast bronze collars ( this pattern was also worn on the side cap or peaked cap), with two original loops to the reverse of each. Circa 3cm tall. Some service wear otherwise in very good condition.

South Africa - Natal Field Artillery Officer's Bronze OSD Slouch Hat / Cap Badge
A full size example with three of three original loops to the reverse. Mounted wheel, fixed in place so does not turn. King's crown so pre 1952. Good colour with minimal wear. Crown shaped backwards with an unusual additional ring attached to back of orb otherwise in very good condition (I have seen this additional securing ring attached to two other examples of this badge).

A grenade of seven flames above a scroll inscribed “Natal”. Worn in brass metal 1920s-1940s and again1949-1967. Two original lugs, these have been pinched but still functional. Circa 4.7cms tall. In good condition.

Cast brass cap badge with 2 original loops to reverse. Maker's name indistinguishable (as locally cast from an original but most probably Toye & Co of London). Worn until 1956.

Locally cast with gilt applied finish and two original loops to the reverse. Some service wear. At some point during WW2 the 5th were also allocated to Kenya. Scarce.
