South African School Cadets Large Brass Alloy Metal Pouch Badge

Worn circa 1910 - 1961, with two screw fittings and retaining nuts to reverse. looks like loops have been removed and contemporaneously replaced with screw fittings for wear on a pouch or belt. Strong and well struck badge, large ( 5.5cm tall and 6cm wide) and attractively styled.

A heavy die cast brass cap badge of two part construction with two original loops to the reverse. As worn by the Sudan Defence Force Supply Department. A shamrock leaf upon a multi-rayed star. In very good condition. Circa 1925 - 1955.

Scarce Sierra Leone Battalion ' SLBn ' brass shoulder title, British made with J.R. Gaunt London stamped to the reverse with both of its original lugs. Worn circa 1901-28. In good condition.

The British colony of Sierra Leone contributed one battalion of infantry to the West African Field Force. It was formed from personnel of the Sierra Leone Frontier Police.
