Indian Army - 3rd Battalion, 15th Punjab Regiment White Metal Cap Badge, pre 1947
A cast white metal example, which appears to have been silver plated with two original loops (pinched but functional) to the reverse. An attractive badge, circa 37mm tall. King's crown. As worn from 1922 when the 27th Punjabis became the 3rd Battalion,15th Punjab Regiment and wore this badge until circa 1953. At the time of Independence the Regiment was allocated to Pakistan.

Indian Army Post Independence - Maratha Light Infantry Cast Brass Shoulder Title
A one piece shoulder title in cast brass with two loops to the reverse, one is a replacement afixed with a fair amount of solder otherwise in very good condition. As worn from 1950 with the Maratha shield and crossed swords to the centre of the bugle. Prior to 1947, the Regiment was known as the Mahratta Light Infantry.
