WW1 WAAC Women's Army Auxiliary Corps Officers OSD Cap Badge - Blades

An officer's service dress bronzed cap badge with two original blades to the reverse. In very good condition.

The Corps was formed March 1917 and some 7000 members served in France.

WW1 Northamptonshire Regiment Other Ranks Bi-Metal Cap Badge

An early second pattern castle ( standard pattern ) with original slider to reverse and three sweat / braising holes to reverse of the scroll. Die struck badge with good sharp detail. Stiff, solid badge in very good condition. Circa 4.3cm tall.

South of Ireland Imperial Yeomanry (SIY) 1902-08 Other Ranks Gilding Metal Brass Cap Badge

A rare South of Ireland Imperial Yeomanry cap badge with two original loops to the reverse (east - west).
Good scarce die-stamped brass seeded shamrock bearing the letters SIY. Some wear to gilt finish and loops have been reshaped upwards but still fully functional and overall in lovely condition. Circa 26mm tall and 30.5mm wide.

A dark toned brass die struck badge with two long original loops (bent upwards but functional) and not a slider (as found on copies). A scarce genuine example of this much copied badge. Note the upright "budgie", the short sturdy claw on each owl as it clutches the shield, a proper looking sheep rather than a thin looking dog like creature seen on the copies. A very rare badge made by Beewyse London, a maker most often associated with Middle East badges. I have seen a Wessex Brigade Staybrite of their manufacture, but only one example and never of any other British Army Badge until encountering this one.
