Die struck in white metal. A small FS cap badge at circa 35mm tall with two lug fittings to the reverse. Remains in good condition. Scarce.
In 1908 the Leeds based 3rd Volunteer Battalion, West Yorkshire Regt became two separate Battalions - 7 & 8th (Territorial) Bn's, West Yorkshire Regt. Both had the title "Leeds Rifles" but had separate designs for their cap badges.

Rifle Brigade Boss Badge - Silver Plated Bugle on a small Black Cord Boss
Black cord to boss (not dark green) suggesting Rifle Brigade, with correct pattern silver plated bugle on screw fitting (no retaining nut). Circa 24mm in diameter. Some wear the edges of bugle where silver plate has worn away, but displays well from the front.
