Royal Army Pay Corps (RAPC) Officer's OSD Cap Badge, King's Crown - Blades - Gaunt

in very good condition with two original blades and maker marked to the reverse JR Gaunt London. Touch of verdigris to blades otherwise in super condition. King's Crown. This is the full size pattern worn from 1920 onwards. A smaller version was introduced in 1950 for wear on the beret.

A pleasing example with original slider (placed much lower than usual which makes the slider seem longer than normal) with braising /sweat holes to the reverse. This pattern worn from 1926. This is not the smaller beret pattern. In superb condition.
