Removed from uniform, a bit grubby and with some damage to bullion edging. Locally made in bullion as typically worn by officers. The roman numerals "XIV" (the sword on this one constitutes the I in XIV) on a black bar and pierced by a sword on a red shield.

WW2 51st Highland Division Embroidered Formation Sign

Original and in unissued condition. Fought as part of the BEF in 1940, the Middle East and Sicily as part of the 8th Army and in June 1944 in the Normandy beachhead and throughout the rest the campaign in North West Europe.

6cm sides, 5.5cm across the top, a triangular Calico Printers printed formation sign, removed from uniform, a bit crinkly but otherwise in very good condition with all the tips to the points of the triangle present. Scarce.

3rd Pattern as worn later in WW2, from April 1943 onwards. Removed from uniform and in good condition. The 49th.Division were part of 21st Army Group and landed with the invasion forces in Normandy in June 1944.

Removed from uniform, thickly embroidered reminiscent of theater made items in India and the Far East where the division found itself from 1942 onwards. Fought with 14th Army in the in the fierce jungle fighting campaign in Burma. The 'Crossed keys' on a black backing.

WW2 Eighth 8th Army Embroidered Cloth Formation Sign

Removed from uniform. Colours bright and in very good condition.

The famous Crusader's Shield sign, worn by the Eighth, which consisted of British, Indian, Australian, Polish and New Zealand formations. The Eighth Army fought with distinction across North Africa, Sicily and the hard fought battles in Italy.
