WW2 Royal Artillery 1st Division Felt Formation Sign
A white triangle representing the 1st Division sewn on top of an equally blue and red diamond. Cole states this formation sign was often improvised out of ordnance stores, as appears to be the case of the one for sale here.

Northern Ireland District 3rd Pattern Printed Formation Signs, Kings Crown & QEII issues
Both 3rd patterns, an unissued King's crown calico printers pattern as worn in WW2 and the post 1952 embroidered version with a Queen's crown, the latter in poor overall condition with some damage to the shield's yellow threads.
Davis No 137 refers (he describes the king's crown version of this as being Fairly Scarce - Rare).

Worn in facing pairs, this one with the red dragon facing to the right. Removed from uniform. In good condition although looks like it has been pinned at some time to a board with a drawing pin just above the dragon's head. HQ at Abergavenny. Of Welsh interest.

Edges folded over but looks to be in unworn condition. The sign depicts King Arthur's sword Excalibur, which was not surprisingly mainly composed of battalions from West Country regiments.
