WW2 1st Anti-Aircraft AA Corps Command Woven Formation Sign
A red eagle pierced by a red arrow on a blue background, left facing. Some damage, but a scarce title. Formed pre war, by 1941 the 1st AA Corps comprised the 1st,5th, 6th, 8th and 9th Anti-Aircraft divisions. The 1st AA Corps Command staff provided command control and co-ordination for these divisions which were tasked with defending London and southern Britain. Rare.

7th AGRA Faicing Matched Pair of Silk Woven Formation Designation Signs Flashes
A facing and matched pair, each depicting a yellow centaur on blue depicting 7th Army Group Royal Artillery ( AGRA ). Removed from uniform, some wear to silk on edges and on the rear belly of the centaur facing right otherwise in good overall condition. Sticky pad from display album to reverse of each, is difficult to remove on account of the delicate threads so not recommended.

WW2 North Kent and Surrey District Command Embroidered White on Blue Cloth Formation Sign Designation Flash
Some glue paper to reverse otherwise in very good bright condition with minor edge wear to right hand side. Jon Mills confirms that this sign was also observed in 1942 being worn by a member of the ATS.

WW2 - 27th Armoured Brigade Embroidered Felt Cloth Formation Sign
Rare woven cloth formation sign of a golden seahorse on blue felt shield, removed from uniform. In good condition, gold/yellow thread darkened with age but with no moth, repairs and only minor edge wear. Worn in facing pairs, this one the seahorse facing left.

An embroidered cloth formation sign with a downed aircraft on the silhouette of a black cat whose tail is curled to the shape of the figure nine. Provided air defence for Cardiff and South Wales Posts. Circa 4.7cm by 4.8cm. Removed from uniform and cut to shape otherwise in very good condition.

Removed from uniform, in good condition. Specialist control rooms and forward sections which provided liaison between Army and RAF support to army operations on the ground and used they were used to great effect in the campaign in North West Europe.
