A scarce original officer's pre 1941 die cast figure of an Elizabethan coast-watcher holding a flaming torch and scanning the horizon resting in a curved scroll inscribed 'Observer Corps'; the reverse retaining two original long loops (some slight twisting from service wear). Good scarce example of wartime pattern. Within bullion embroidered crowned laurel sprays, an applied gilt Elizabethan Coast Watcher standing on a gilt scroll inscribed “Forewarned is Forearmed”.

WW2 Home Front Girls Training Corps ( GTC ) Embroidered Cloth Unit Patch - Rare
A very rare patch, possibly worn by an officer of the unit on the dark blue jacket. White letters GTC on a black background in a red circle. The edges of this show a lot of wear / damage but a very scarce item. Circa 4.5cm in diameter. Any information welcome.

Rare WW2 German POW Internment War Work Inlaid Wood Vesta
This is a very high quality inlaid wooden vesta or match safe, to the front it has ‘P.O.W. Shrewsbury camp’ and to the back a lovely inlaid star shape. Research shows that the pow camp at Shrewsbury was used to house German internees and other German prisoners captured at the various fronts (see below). WW2 Era Royal Engineers Metal & Celluloid Matchbox Cover
A nice quality piece made from a metal core with a coloured celluloid covering with the badge for the Royal Engineers front and back with King George VI cypher to the middle, the spine marked Royal Engineers. Measuring just under 2.5 inches long it comes in very good condition with some mild marking to the surface. Empty matchbox which it contains is for display only.
