Sanctioned for wear in 1938, and made by Royal Mint, this badge consisted of the letters TA between two horizontal lines across the centre of a circle. Scarce WW I bronzed cap badge with original slider fitting maker marked twice, correct pattern of stamped naming for Thomas Fattorini, Bolton on silder and then embossed again on the reverse of the badge. WW2 Era Royal Engineers Metal & Celluloid Matchbox Cover

A nice quality piece made from a metal core with a coloured celluloid covering with the badge for the Royal Engineers front and back with King George VI cypher to the middle, the spine marked Royal Engineers. Measuring just under 2.5 inches long it comes in very good condition with some mild marking to the surface. Empty matchbox which it contains is for display only.

WW1 Home Front - Scarce Dundee Women's Suffrage Society War Relief Fund Gilt and Enamel Badge

An attractive gilt and enamel badge which shows the crest of the city of Dundee, 29mm in diameter. It is engraved with 37/2 and has the maker's details on the reverse Rattray, Dundee. It also has an extra loop mounted on it for a safety chain (the safety chain is no longer present). In good condition with only a small bit of surface damage to the surface of the enamel at about 1 o'clock.
