White Metal and enamel. Enamel in undamaged condition. Pin fitting. Maker marked on reverse Toy & Co, London. Good condition, but some tarnish to reverse. Circa 3.1cm in diameter. Worn from March 1940 onwards.

WW2 Home Front National Fire Service ( NFS ) Enamel and Chrome White Metal Cap Badge

Enamel in good undamaged condition, with minor surface wear to the chrome finish. Two original lugs to the reverse and the letter 'M' stamped on the reverse of the King's crown ( perhaps for the maker Miller ? ). Circa 4.7cm tall and 4.1cm wide.

Post WW2 Civil Defence Corps, Lady Volunteer Home Front Badge by Firmin, 1949 - 1952

An original gilt and enamel badge, King's crown above a circlet with 'Civil Defence Corps' on blue enamel ground, enclosing the Royal Lion of England, the reverse with maker's details "Firmin London.". Very good condition, original pin fitting, no damage to the enamel. Circa 2.6cm tall.
