Sanctioned for wear in 1938, and made by Royal Mint, this badge consisted of the letters TA between two horizontal lines across the centre of a circle. A small attractive King's Crown enamelled unmarked silver lapel badge for the Officer's Training Corps (OTC). Made by J.R. Gaunt, London. In good condition complete with a lapel button-hole fixing. No damage to enamel. Registered design number 627163 to reverse, which gives this design a registration date of between 1913 and 1914.

WW2 Era Royal Engineers Metal & Celluloid Matchbox Cover
A nice quality piece made from a metal core with a coloured celluloid covering with the badge for the Royal Engineers front and back with King George VI cypher to the middle, the spine marked Royal Engineers. Measuring just under 2.5 inches long it comes in very good condition with some mild marking to the surface. Empty matchbox which it contains is for display only.
