Two handed silver plated shooting trophy awarded to Lieutenant Dyke, 5th Fusiliers in 1874 at Hythe. Hythe was the location of the British Army School of Musketry. Crica 33mm in diameter, this has its original looking nut to a screw post fastener on the reverse. The silvered finish has considerable wear to the eagle device and the gilt backing has some blackish staining. Obviously seen a bit of service wear this one. read more
