Issue number 39722 on both the box and impressed on the back of the badge, which is in near mint condition, comes with small folding honorary membership card issued to an A.L. Ford, admitted to the Legion on 30 September 1934. Name of Branch 'Hurst' and located in Winnersh (Wokingham, Berkshire). Wear to box and internal folds of membership card. Came together.

Flare Pistol / Gun - Relic Condition - RAF issue

An absolute monster in the hand and of considerable weight. The flare pistol was a feature of every day life in the trenches but this one looks larger than those found as issued to the British Army with a 1.5 inch muzzle. A very neat die struck and voided Royal Household badge. The Royal Crest with Queen Victoria Crown (QVC) within the Garter HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE. 4 single retaining wires to the reverse (one of two pairs remaining on each securing point).
