Flare Pistol / Gun - Relic Condition - RAF issue
An absolute monster in the hand and of considerable weight. The flare pistol was a feature of every day life in the trenches but this one looks larger than those found as issued to the British Army with a 1.5 inch muzzle. A superb item, engraved silver Identity bracelet on its original chain, fully functional. Reverse has the hallmarks for London assay office with the date letter 'a' (1916) and maker's details "M.
