WW1 Lusitania Propaganda Medal in Box of Issue, 5 May 1915
A cast iron example, some rust now showing through and this has stained the box liner too but great to find in complete condition in original card box of issue with its original paper certificate. Some wear to box but still presentable. Medal is the British propaganda variety with 5 May 1915 as made by Selfridges for the government, proceeds going to the St Dunstan's blind veterans' charity. ... read more

A good original First World War period 'Imperial Service' die-cast nickel pin badge, worn on the uniform above right pocket by Territorial Force Soldiers who had Volunteered for Overseas Service during the Great War. Very good condition, complete with its original substantial pin fittings, a good example.

WW1 Tribute Medal / Memorial Plaque to Durham Pals - from Manchester
According to the owner, this was given to the next of kin by the mine owners for those employees (miners) who died in WW1. I have never encountered another, but from the design it is clear that a space has been left for customising it to each recipient. In this example it is to a Jonathan Riding, Army Number 16068 of the 12th (Service) Battalion Durham Light Infantry (DLI).
