Pingat Jasa Malaysia (P.J.M.) Full Size Medal

The Malaysian Government awarded a commemorative medal, known as the Pingat Jasa Malaysia, to British veterans and others who served in operations in Malaya/Malaysia between August 1957 and August 1965. The medal can be worn with official medals. In very good condition, but with a short length of ribbon only remaining.

An attractive and early Scots Masons Jewel in the form of a bronze-gilt oval starburst, circa 42mm by 38mm (excluding the large ring), bearing the figure of St Andrew on this cross, the cross arms with a green wash (some lost), original ring suspension. An early item of some quality.  read more

WW2 Poland - Framed Medals to a Polish Soldier - MOL PRC (Polish Resettlement Corps)

The Monte Casino Medal is a later unnumbered copy. The other WW2 medals are original. A small cut photo image of the soldier in uniform and attributed below to the late 30049127 Staff Sergeant Stanislaw MOL PRC. A moving tribute in both English and Polish to the reverse of the frame. Worthy of further research.

Neatly engraved naming in capitals, exactly the same on on both the War Medal and Defence Medal, as follows:

"14991957 Pte S E Duff, 2 Bn Border Regt"

Both with a short length of replacement ribbon for display purposes. Medals in good overall condition with a few edge bruises to the War Medal.

Royal Army Temperance Association 1 Year Silver Medal

This one is circular, unmarked silver and 34mm in diameter the one year abstinence medal in unmarked silver, dark toned otherwise in very good condition. With 9mm suspension ring and on a blue ribbon (possibly the earlier 6 month blue ribbon rather than 'Army of India'). Maker marked Baddeley Bros London. Unnamed as issued.

In average condition with some staining to front and glue to reverse. Woolwich Arsenal stamp to reverse also. 11 possible casualties noted with this name on the CWGC site, including an Australian, a Canadian, an officer of the East Yorkshire Regiment and all the rest from line regiments, Scottish and English County Regiments.
