The 50th Independence Anniversary Medal was issued to commemorate the historic occasion of 50 years of the independence of India and was authorised for all Armed Forces personnel borne on strength as on 15th August 1997.

WW2 Poland - Framed Medals to a Polish Soldier - MOL PRC (Polish Resettlement Corps)

The Monte Casino Medal is a later unnumbered copy. The other WW2 medals are original. A small cut photo image of the soldier in uniform and attributed below to the late 30049127 Staff Sergeant Stanislaw MOL PRC. A moving tribute in both English and Polish to the reverse of the frame. Worthy of further research.
