A scarce original early post 1953 period 'Queen Alexandra's Royal Naval Nursing Service hat badge'; Queen Alexandra cypher of red embroidered crossed initials 'A' and intertwined around a gold wire anchor surmounted by a EIIR Crown, the reverse with black hessian cotton backing. Very good condition, bullion remains bright. Circa 56mm tall. In unissued condition and not yet cut to shape.
