Uganda Protectorate Gilt Pagri Sun Helmet Badge

An attractive gilt badge bearing a crested crane in a circle with strong functional and original pin fixings to the reverse. Gilt slightly dulled to front but a good sharp detail. Circa 4cm in diameter.

An extremely scarce badge, die struck in white metal with two original dark toned lugs to the reverse. Circa 4.2cm tall. This pattern worn 1902 - 1920.

QEII AA Anodised Rifle Brigade Cap Badge, 1956 - 58 only

The anodised silver cap badge is maker named JR Gaunt London in two places, on the reverse of the slider and also embossed on the reverse of the badge. Some signs of having been worn to the reverse but in good condition to the front. Worn for two years only, between 1956 and 1958. Sealed 10th October 1956. A scarce cyclist battalion one piece white metal shoulder title with three original strong lugs to the reverse. Worn 1908 - 1920 only. Their cap badge can also be found in white metal.

Westlake No 1559 refers (but this one is in white metal which he does not mention as a variety).

Two original blades to reverse and in very good condition. It is a mystery as to why this should have be such a hard badge to find, the assumption being that earlier non Royal title cap badges were to be used up first.

WW2 Home Front BBC ( British Broadcasting Corporation ) Radio National Service War Service Badge - maker marked Miller - Women 's issue

Scarce wartime BBC chromed pin badge with blue enamel centre. The reverse has the maker's details "H.W.Miller Ltd. B'Ham.18". Very good condition with no damage to the enamel although there is light scratching to it from usual wear. It has its original pin fixings and C clasp although the pin is a professional replacement. Circa 3cm tall.
