An attractive gilt badge bearing a crested crane in a circle with strong functional and original pin fixings to the reverse. Gilt slightly dulled to front but a good sharp detail. Circa 4cm in diameter.

The anodised silver cap badge is maker named JR Gaunt London in two places, on the reverse of the slider and also embossed on the reverse of the badge. WW2 Home Front BBC ( British Broadcasting Corporation ) Radio National Service War Service Badge - maker marked Miller - Women 's issue
Scarce wartime BBC chromed pin badge with blue enamel centre. The reverse has the maker's details "H.W.Miller Ltd. B'Ham.18". Very good condition with no damage to the enamel although there is light scratching to it from usual wear. It has its original pin fixings and C clasp although the pin is a professional replacement. Circa 3cm tall.
