All of these naval items came together including the photo. The cap tally was badly knotted and marked with blanco, which I have gently cleaned and lightly pressed. It is very much a working rig, with some yellowing, occasional stains and sun fade. 1855 pattern black wool forge cap with flat peak and rifle green braid and top knot. Label to inside gives military outfitters details as G Phillips, Army & Navy Outfitters, Stonehouse. Leather lining still present and silk purple lining present but perished in places.

WW2 British Forces Kings Badge for Loyal Service
Introduced in 1941, circa 26mm in diameter struck in white metal. The King's Badge was awarded to British Forces personnel who had been invalided out of the services during WW2 and were entitled to a war disablement pension. They were both unnamed and unnumbered. In good bright and clean condition.

Scarce Durham Light Infantry ( DLI ) Territorial Battalion Officer 's Side Cap and Silver Plated South Africa Scroll Cap Badge
Crown to reverse of badge stamped "P" for silver plated and with maker's name JR Gaunt London. Badge has two lugs (e-w) and is secured behind the sewn-in lining, which makes cleaning the badge difficult, but also stops it going walkies! it is lightly tarnished and needs a good clean.
