Welsh Guards Other Ranks Brass Gilding Metal Cap Badge
Instituted in 1915, the badge chosen was the leek and was worn in brass by all other ranks. This gilding metal badge is die cast rather than struck and has a good strong slider and is in good condition.

The Guards Machine Gun Regiment Other Ranks Brass Gilding Metal Cap Badge
A WW1 war raised unit formed in February 1918 from the three Household Cavalry regiments and the existing Guards Machine Gun Battalion (see item above), making the 1st to 3rd and 4th Battalions respectively. Disbanded in 1920.

The Royal Scots (Lothian Regiment) (1st Foot) Other Ranks Bi-metal Cap Badge
A good stiff bi-metal badge with two original long loops to the reverse. Slight nick in the bottom ray of the star otherwise in good condition.
A red cloth backing insert was worn behind the wee jimmy by the 1st Battalion, and a green cloth backing by the 2nd Battalion.

The Queens (Royal West Surrey Regiment) (2nd Foot) Victorian / Edwardian Issue Other Ranks Bi-metal Cap Badge
A lovely old striking with three sweat / braising holes to the reverse of the scroll with two dark toned original lugs to the reverse. Some verdigris to reverse. Sharp detail to front.
The final photo shows this badge against the latter pattern introduced in 1920 and listed for sale elsewhere on this site.
