An attractive heavy badge with 5 of 8 screw fittings to the reverse remaining. No damage or repairs. Battle honour Ubique tended not to be worn by Militia units, Static wheel to gun, all fiddly bits present and correct. Possibly plated. Circa 10cm tall and 8.5cm wide. A lovely item.

Victorian Medical Staff Corps Officer's Fire Gilt Button Set
Circa 23mm and 15mm in diameter respectively. Fixed shanks and all maker marked J.W. Reynolds & Co, 50 St. Martin's Lane, London. The smaller pair most probably from cap. All in brilliant fire gilt and of a super quality. Only fault is one of the smaller buttons has a small scratch near rim. Scarce maker. Worn 1855 - 1898. From 1898 became the RAMC.

A fascinating little booklet published at the time our of darkest hour and when invasion was feared as imminent. Stapled card cover, giving pertinent information on how to spot Jerry! 7 pages with great details especially on German vehicle markings and even the German Identity disk. Which as one would expect was far superior and practical than our own issue!
