Newfoundland Embroidered Red on Khaki Felt Cloth Shoulder Title
Hessian backed but with white paper stuck to most of reverse. One small moth graze to surface felt the top edge of title above the letter U otherwise in very good condition. Scarce.
This cloth title was re-introduced in 1939. Newfoundland became a self-governing Dominion in 1917 and on the 31st March 1949 became the sixteenth province of Canada.

Malay Regiment Other Rank's Gilding Metal Cap Badge, adopted 1933
In excellent condition, this is a good stiff badge with sharp detail and with two original lugs to the reverse. Quite large at circa 55mm by 43mm. Scarce.
This was a two battalion force which fought well in the doomed defence of Singapore. After Japan's defeat it was revived and by the time of Independence in 1957 was seven battalions strong.

1914 Star with full length original silk ribbon correctly impressed with an unusual prefix to the Star as follows "CMT - 1829 Pte A. Watson, A.S.C." A rare medal to an army which was still pretty much horse drawn. Medal GVF.

Bi-metal with original slider to reverse stamped Firmin London. No damage to the lances or lance pennons. Short strengthening bars fitted to lance pennons behind slider.
