WW2 Indian Army Dental Corps ( IADC ) Officer 's Cast White Metal Cap Badge
King's crown, two original small loops to the reverse, neatly cast in white metal and silver plated (unmarked). Circa 3.9cm tall.
A dental branch of the Indian Medical Corps was formed in 1940. In March 1943, this took on its own identity as the Indian Army Dental Corps. This was badge would therefore have only been worn between 1943 and 1947. Scarce.

A pair of die cast bronze collar badges with three original lugs to the reverse of each and both maker marked JR Gaunt London. Circa 3cm tall and 3.5cm wide. From the same die and a close match but not matching as one has more service wear to it and is a touch lighter in colour.

Postally unused from the Bill Hopkins postcard collection. Close of up of Cap badges show these to be crowned Maltese crosses. Taken of despatch riders with the cycles and rifles under or "Bivvy". Taken at Crowborough in 1911. no doubt the annual territorial camp. Scarce image. Card in good condition.
