The Sherwood Foresters (Derbyshire Regiment) (45th & 95th Foot)
The Victorian pattern cap badge with two original dark toned loops to the reverse. Some signs of service wear - one foot of the white metal star slightly lifted from its securing tab on the brass scroll - and especially to the loops, but in good overall condition. As worn until 1902 when the badge was corrected to include Nottinghamshire.
