The Queens Own Cameron Highlanders (79th Foot) Other-Ranks Victorian White Metal Glengarry Cap Badge - No Scroll
White metal die struck with two lug fittings (east-west). Very good condition. Circa 57mm by 56mm wide. The Cameron scroll was added circa 1900. This pattern authorised for wear from 1872.

A silver badge with two original silvered loops to the reverse. Hallmarks in reverse of bugle mouth but these look like they are cast and not stamped. A die struck silver plated glengarry badge with original pin fitting. C clasp bent down trapping pin in place. Some dark toning and by the look and feel it has some age to it. It measures circa 43mm wide and 48mm tall.

King's crown blackened brass slouch hat badge with two lugs and securing post at base plus tabs to secure the original red velvet backing. The Swan from the Arms of Buckinghamshire to the centre of a crowned circlet bearing the title, " 1st.Bucks Rifle Volunteers ". A very pleasing example. Worn 1902 - 1908. Raised in 1859 at Great Marlow with HQ in Institute Road.

Generic 1878 Home Service Pattern Other Ranks Victorian QVC Helmet Brass Plate
As worn from 1878 - 1902, an original other ranks helmet plate with two of two original staple style loops to the reverse. Dark patina to brass and traces of dry polish. Some flex in it as you find with the original versions (for shaping to curve of helmet).

An early bi-coloured anodised (staybrite) cap badge of two-part riveted construction to the TA units of The Queen's Royal Surrey Regiment. Original slider maker marked J R Gaunt, London. There appears to be an erasure of owner's name to reverse otherwise in good overall condition.
