A heavy cast white metal badge (possibly silver plated but unmarked) with additional void fretting to the top and bottom of the thistle wreath (4 voids) with about 20 voids to the centre design. A quality badge. Two original loops to the reverse (some signs of service wear).

Brigade of Gurkhas Boys Company White Metal Cap Badge, circa 1953 - 1968
Good scarce early white metal example with original unclipped long slider. Badge was sealed in 1954 and there was a later anodised staybrite example. The Gurkha Boys company was disbanded in 1968.

BoBD (Jon Mills) No 5462 (but this one is printed and in different colours. This could possibly have been worn by the predecessor of this unit, the 406th Hampshire Coast Regiment. Any confirmation of this welcome.
