Scarce anodised aluminium button, gilt coloured, circa 26mm in diameter. Fixed shank. Backmarked Gaunt London. King's crown suggests pre 1953, and this pattern was only worn until 1958.

The 28th Foot - The Gloucestershire Regiment - Scarce Art Card in the Trenches at Sevastopol, Crimean War 1854

Scarce printed artist drawn card, signed by A.C. Lovett. Publisher and date of publication unknown but of pre WW1 vintage. It is particularly good in that it clearly shows the pork pie numerals on both the cap and valise and the regimental number painted on the blue water bottle.
