5th RGR Royal Gurkha Rifles (Frontier Force) Blackened Brass Shoulder Title
As worn by all ranks of the Regiment between 1924 and 1950. One of a number of variations and patterns, this one matching 5GR F17F (see below). Circa 26mm tall and 21mm wide. Two original hexagonal fixing loops. Some minor bending from service wear but black finish in good condition.

Rare WW2 German POW Internment War Work Inlaid Wood Vesta
This is a very high quality inlaid wooden vesta or match safe, to the front it has ‘P.O.W. Shrewsbury camp’ and to the back a lovely inlaid star shape. Research shows that the pow camp at Shrewsbury was used to house German internees and other German prisoners captured at the various fronts (see below). The Green Howards ( Alexandra, Princess of Wales's Own Yorkshire Regiment) (19th Foot) - 2nd Pattern Coronet Other Ranks White Metal Cap Badge
Die struck cap badge in good overall condition but with some rippling to badge. Original slider to reverse. This pattern worn from onwards about 1910 onwards with a a slider. Within the Regiment is was referred to as the "Eiffel Tower" badge.
